Handling Difficult Conversations in the Workplace


Let’s face it—difficult conversations are a reality for most if not all of us, whether it is handling a customer service issue or communicating with a colleague. This workshop will equip you with the strategies, skills and tools to prepare for and successfully deal with tough conversations. A practical segment involving real-world situations is included to cement your new-found skills!

Participants will learn to:

  • Define difficult conversations and understand why we try to avoid them.
  • Recognise the importance of having difficult conversations.
  • Explore techniques for successfully engaging in difficult conversations.
  • Develop a plan for holding difficult conversations.
  • Increase your confidence for engaging in difficult conversations and be prepared to communicate more effectively in various situations.
